The dryer isn't working correctly

If you placed your clothes in one of our dryers and found that they hadn't been dried at all, we can help explain why and what to do next.

Have you found your laundry still damp even after running it through a drying cycle? Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot the issue and get your clothes perfectly dry.

Check for Warmth

Once the drying cycle finishes, check if your clothes feel warm. If they do, it's possible the selected cycle wasn't long enough for the weight of your laundry. Consider adjusting the drying time according to the load size. Your laundry might need more time or a different cycle setting to dry effectively.

Insufficient Drying Time

If your dryer was set for a specific duration, like 45 minutes, and your clothes are still cold or wet, there might be a problem.

Sometimes our machines experience lint build-up, which can block the channels that allow hot air in. We service our machines on a regular basis, but sometimes issues can occur between the times our engineers check in. Our first priority is making sure you receive a refund for your time using the dryer - go to this page to process your refund. We also ask that you report the issue with the machine so that an engineer can visit the site as soon as possible.
