Photo.ME: ID/Passport Photo Was Rejected

Our machines are configured to meet all Government and DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) standards. If your photo was rejected, please check the following items.

If you have submitted your information for a passport, visa, or any other ID application in the past few weeks and have been asked to retake your photo to complete your application, you may be eligible for a refund. Refunds will be provided under the following conditions:

If any of the above apply, you are entitled to a refund. Please contact our team with proof of the failed application (e.g., email screenshot or a photo of the rejection letter), along with the date, time, and location of the machine used. Our team will respond as soon as possible.

Please note: Refunds cannot be issued if your photo was rejected due to personal appearance issues, such as smiling, hair covering the face, or wearing hats or other adornments.
