Wash.ME: I Was Charged Multiple Times

If you notice multiple identical transactions or pending charges on your card after using a Wash.ME machine, follow these steps to understand and resolve the issue!

After using a Wash.ME machine, you may see a pending transaction or multiple similar transactions on your card. These are temporary authorisation holds, not actual charges.

This means the money has not been taken from your account — it is only being temporarily reserved by your bank, which can make it look like a charge.

These pending transactions are automatically released by your bank, usually within 2-3 working days, depending on your bank.

‍

If a charge remains after 2-3 business days, contact our customer care team to request a refund.
